PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reinforcing plate from being bent by impact load without generating buckling when caulking the reinforcing plate. SOLUTION: As an impact transmission means, this reinforcing plate 4 is connected to the inside of an upper rail 2, while a stopper is connected to a screw shaft in the vicinity of the reinforcing plate 4. When connecting the reinforcing plate 4, an upper pawl part 4a is formed in an upper part of the reinforcing plate 4 and lower pawl parts 4b are formed on both sides of a lower part of the reinforcing plate 4, while an upper part slit 2f is formed in an upper part of the upper rail 2, and lower part slits 2g are formed on both sides of a lower part of the upper rail 2. The upper pawl part 4a and the lower pawl part 4b are fitted into the upper part slit 2f and the lower part slit 2g, respectively, and a caulking part 4c is formed in an external part of the upper rail 2 of the upper pawl part 4a. An insertion hole 4d inserted with the screw shaft therein is formed in the reinforcing plate 4, and a cylindrical part 4e is integrally formed around the insertion hole 4d.
