<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a coating film is easily peeled because of severe deterioration in a part susceptive to physical changes, such as shrinkage or expansion of a metal caused by temperature change or being infiltrated with ultraviolet rays, water or corrosive chemical substances (acids, alkalis and salt water), in a surface part of a metal or a joined part between the metal and the concrete; and to provide a one-component type coating material which cures by drying, has improved surface strength, shrinkage and expansion resistance, water resistance and chemical resistance, and can maintain a highly durable state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The one-component type curable coating material is a mixture of rubber-based recycled carbon and a solvent containing, as a main component, a urethane prepolymer resin solvent, and provides a hard coating film having excellent water resistance and chemical resistance.
