<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended load steadying apparatus can quickly reduce the lateral deviation and skew deviation of a suspended load. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided for steadying the suspended load 8 suspended from a trolley 5 by a plurality of main winding ropes 7a-7d. Main winding rope end support trucks 30s, 30t are mounted on the right and left side in the traverse direction of the trolley 5, and the chip parts 17 of the main winding ropes 7a-7d making a U-turn on a hanging implement 6 are fixed to the main winding rope end support trucks 30s, 30t. The trolley 5 is provided with a truck moving means 33 moving the main winding rope end support trucks 30s, 30t in the traverse direction of the trolley 5. Further, a control means 45 is provided for relatively controlling the moving direction and moving amount of the main winding rope end support trucks 30s, 30t with respect to the trolley 5.
