<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device solving noise generated when torque is transmitted from a constant velocity joint to a hub shaft and attaining light weight and compact size. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The wheel bearing device 10 is a wheel bearing device mounted to a vehicle body through a rolling bearing 20 mounted to an outer periphery. Further, the wheel bearing device 10 is provided with the hub shaft 14 formed with: a through-hole 18 at a center; and a drive shaft 40 inserted to the through-hole 18 of the hub wheel 14. The constant velocity joint 30 for pivotably connecting the hub shaft 14 and the drive shaft 40 is formed at an outer side than the rolling bearing 20 and at the inside of the through-hole 18 of the hub shaft 14.
