The present invention provides a foam dispensing assembly (2) comprising a liquid piston pump (4), comprising a liquid cylinder (8) and a liquid piston (9) delimiting a liquid pump chamber (10), and a liquid inlet (11) and outlet (12), an air piston pump (5) comprising an air cylinder (15) and an air piston (16) delimiting an air pump chamber (17), and an air inlet (18) and outlet (19), a common actuation button (6) for actuation of said liquid pump and said air pump, a dispensing channel (23) for mixing and dispensing liquid and air pumped by said liquid and air pump, respectively, and a securing collar (7) for attachment of said dispensing assembly to a container (3) wherein said air cylinder is formed by a cylindrical skirt of said actuation button, and said air piston is at least partially formed by a cylindrical extension of said securing collar and in that said air chamber at least partially surrounds said liquid chamber.
