<p>A transmitter is capable of communicating with a receiver for reproducing a signal, assigns priority according to the signal type of the signal to be reproduced, and transmits a request to set the exclusive control right associated with the priority to the receiver. The transmitter transmits the signal to the receiver. Furthermore, the transmitter transmits a request to cancel the exclusive control right to the receiver due to the completion of the reproduction of the signal. In this way, the transmitter can control the receiver so as to reproduce an interrupt signal with high priority by exclusively controlling the receiver during the reproduction of the signal on the basis of the priority set in accordance with the signal type of the signal to be reproduced.</p> |
