<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel sequence for use in diagnosis and treatment of cancer, especially carcinoma, as well as use of a novel composition in a screening method. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed are: cells expressing cancer-associated genes (CA gene) or fragments thereof; screening methods for composition regulating carcinoma, especially lymphoma and leukemia, comprising the genes or cells; methods for inhibiting the proliferation of cells, preferably lymphoma cell; and a method for treating carcinoma including diagnosis.
