<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the sensitivity of an electrochemical sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This electrochemical sensor 1 includes an action electrode 2 having a conductive diamond film or DLC film containing chlorine of 0.002 to 1 atom%, and measures the concentration of a chemical substance. The electrochemical sensor has sensitivity that is improved and high, and hence is used as a glucose sensor of non-invasion for measuring the glucose concentration of extracellular fluid, for example. In the electrochemical sensor, the residual current is small, so that the drift of an electric signal is suppressed, calibration for securing the accuracy is not necessarily needed, and the working efficiency of the measurement is also high. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
