<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of an inspection and diagnosing based on the inspection and to improve the accuracy of the inspection and the diagnosing based on the inspection by providing gel for a medical use on the body surface of a subject when inspecting the subject to be an inspection object by an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus or an electrocardiograph or the like or continuously measuring the biological signals of a patient by a biological information monitor. <P>SOLUTION: In the gel to be applied to the body surface of the subject upon ultrasonic diagnosing performed using the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus mainly in a dark place, a fluorescent agent which shines only when irradiated with a black light is mixed.
