<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium capable of securing a sufficient tilt margin and mechanical strength even when recording density is hightensed. <P>SOLUTION: An information recording medium is provided with: a substrate (13); first and second recording surfaces which are provided on both surfaces of the substrate and where embossed pits (2) are provided; first and second reflection films (3) provided on the surfaces of the first and second recording surfaces; and first and second protective films (4) provided on the surfaces of the first and second reflection films, wherein recorded data are reproduced based on light intensity change of reflected light of an optical beam emitted from the protective film sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
