<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a feeder including a driving apparatus to convey a component holding tape in a longitudinal direction, the component holding tape which holds a plurality of circuit components per holding pitch. <P>SOLUTION: The feeder for supplying a circuit component includes: the driving apparatus to convey the component holding tape holding a plurality of circuit components per fixed holding pitch, in the longer direction; and a feeder side controller 540 to control the driving apparatus. The feeder 54 supplying a circuit component to a mounting apparatus includes: a signal receiving part common to receiving initial remaining number information, holding pitch information, and supply commands, namely the signal receiving part receiving the first stage remaining number information, being the number of circuit components in the first stage of the component holding tape, the holding pitch information of the component holding tape, and a plurality of supply commands of the circuit components; and a remaining number memorizing part. The feeder side controller 540, based on the information received by the signal receiving part, makes the remaining number memorizing part memorize a first stage remaining number as the first stage component remaining number, and also decrements the component remaining number in the remaining number memorizing part one by one as the component holding tape is conveyed by a holding pitch by the driving apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
