<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retardation sheet that can be made thinner by eliminating a base film that has been used as a final component while maintaining optical characteristics as a retardation plate, wherein a retardation layer is prevented from being damaged even if a pressure is exerted thereon; and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The retardation sheet has: the retardation layer; and one or more adhesive layers, wherein the storage elastic modulus (G') of at least one adhesive layer among the adhesive layers at 23°C is 0.3 to 15 MPa. In the retardation sheet, the retardation layer is formed by subjecting a photosensitive resin composition exhibiting liquid crystallinity to polarized radiation.
