<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detoxification method for an asbestos-containing material, which can efficiently make an asbestos-containing material such as waste asbestos detoxified with the help of temporarily burnt cement raw material extracted from a cement manufacturing plant, as well as a method for manufacturing cement by means of this method. <P>SOLUTION: This detoxification method for an asbestos-containing material uses a cement manufacturing process as follows: firstly, a cement raw material is temporarily burnt by preheating it with the help of a preheater, then, is supplied to the tail side of a rotary kiln whose interior is kept at a high temperature by a heating means placed on the forward side of the kiln, and calcined while feeding the raw material of temporarily burnt cement to the kiln forward side. Specifically, the raw material of temporarily burnt cement containing a chlorine compound is extracted from the second half of the preheater which supplies the raw material to the tail part or the tail side of the rotary kiln. After this procedure, the raw material is added to the asbestos-containing material and these materials are mixed by a mixing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
