<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of improving vapor liquid separation efficiency by restraining regurgitation of liquid drops in a gas collecting flow channel or leakage of fuel into a porous body due to pressure change at stoppage of power generation. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with: a membrane electrode assembly 8, including an anode electrode 4 and a cathode electrode 5 facing each other, with an electrolyte membrane 3 interposed in between; a porous body 10 in contact with the anode electrode 4, an anode flow channel plate 30; provided with gas collecting flow channels 32a to 32e collecting gas generated at the anode electrode 4 via the porous body 10 and a fuel flow channel 31 supplying fuel to the anode electrode 4 on a surface in contact with the porous body 10; a first sealing part 9b sealing a peripheral edge part of the cathode electrode 5; a second sealing part 9a sealing a peripheral edge part of the anode electrode 4 and the porous body 10; and a third sealing part 37 sealing an exit end of the gas-collecting flow channel 32a. The second and the third sealing parts 9a, 37 are made by using a material having CO<SB>2</SB>gas permeability lower than that of the first sealing part 9b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
