<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an MAC processing technique for using a high throughput system having backward compatibility with various types of existing system efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: In one mode, a data frame is formed to include a common portion required for transmission in a format which is received at an access point and various stations such as a remote station. The data frame also includes an exclusive portion which is formatted for transmission to a specified remote station. In another mode, the common portion is not deflected but the exclusive portion is deflected. In other mode, an access point schedules allocation according to a data display included in the common portion of a data frame being transmitted from one remote station to other remote station.
