PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of attracting the attention of a player by diversifying the presentation indicating the result of jackpot determination by using the display of the number of reserved balls. SOLUTION: When a game ball enters a starting hole during the variable display of symbols, a random number for the game ball is stored as a reserved ball, and a lottery for determining whether the display mode of the number of reserved balls should be changed or not is executed according to the result of the jackpot determination indicated with the variably displayed symbols (S132, S141 and S154). When a lottery for changing the display mode of the number of reserved balls is won, the display mode of the number of reserved balls is changed to an expectancy degree notifying mode with a higher degree of expectancy for a jackpot than usual, or to a jackpot finalized mode suggesting that a jackpot is finalized (S135, S143, S157 and S161).
