PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device for a heating furnace, appropriately realizing cleanness and high efficiency of combustion gas, in the case where it is used for changing a combustion device for an oil-type heating furnace, for example. SOLUTION: A peripheral wall part at an leading end side of a fuel ejection body B and facing the inside of the furnace is provided with a gas fuel ejecting nozzle 9 comprising a plurality of ejection holes 9a for ejecting gas fuel supplied from a gas fuel flow passage 20 toward the inside of the furnace in a state of being aligned to a supply passage width direction of an oxygen containing gas supply passage. The gas fuel ejecting nozzle 9 is composed to eject the gas fuel so as to form a flame whose flame formation range is spread more extensively on one side than on the other side in the supply passage width direction, which forms a fan-shaped flame with its flame formation range spreading in the supply passage width direction.
