PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper in which a level difference by the sliding-down of the front end flap of an absorptive chassis is not generated while worn and excrement does not leak out to the outside, and which is excellent on appearance as well. SOLUTION: At least the front waist region 13 of front and rear waist regions 13 and 14 has elastic regions 25, 26 and 27 extending at least in a transverse direction Y. The elastic regions 25, 26 and 27 are formed of a first elastic region 25 extending in the transverse direction Y near the front end flap 62 of the absorptive chassis 12 from a waist opening edge part 23a, a second elastic region 26 adjacent to the first elastic region 25 and extending in the transverse direction Y, and a pair of third elastic regions 27 adjacent to the second elastic region 26, extending from the side edge 18 of the front waist region 13 to both sides of the absorptive chassis 12 and separately facing each other in the transverse direction Y on both sides of a non-elastic region 28A formed at the transverse direction center part of the front waist region 13.
