<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing paper which can effectively impart a sizing property to paper without causing staining and the like in a paper-making system, has a reduced reduction in fluorescence intensity, and is excellent in whiteness. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Provided is the printing paper containing a paper-making additive made of a filler and a copolymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer component containing at least a hydrophobic monomer (A) and a cationic monomer (B) and having a quaternization degree of not less than 40 mol%, and containing a neutral rosin sizing agent.
