PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket connector capable of attaining both thinning of a connector and securing of the rotation properties of a lock arm. SOLUTION: The socket connector is provided with a socket housing 12, and a lock arm 15 for maintaining the coupling state of the socket connector 10 and a base connector 30 by coupling the base connector 30 and a latch part 36, of which the lock arm 15 is equipped with a hook part 15a extended in a first direction D1 headed from the socket connector 10 toward a base connector 30 in a combined state; a power point part 15b extended in a second direction D2 contrary to the first direction D1; and a fulcrum part 15c connected to the socket housing 12, the hook part 15a and the power point part 15b in free turning around the fulcrum part 15c. The fulcrum part 15c is in contact with an end face of the base connector 30 in a second direction D2 side, in a combined state, and is further positioned toward the first direction D1 side than a contact face 21 positioned at a connecting part 18 connected with the fulcrum part 15c in the socket housing 12.
