<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage chair which enables a user to sit on or stand up from a seat surface in a convenient manner, while allowing the user to deeply sit on the seat surface with an increased front-to-back length by making the front-to-back length of the seat surface adjustable. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The massage chair 1 includes a seat surface front-to-back length adjusting means 6 provided with an auxiliary seat portion 3 capable of freely protruding to the front part A1 of a seat portion 2 from the inside of the seat portion 2 and retreating therefrom, and a back-and-forth drive unit 11 for varying the front-to-back length B of the seat surface 5 by moving the auxiliary seat portion 3 forwards and backwards.
