<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start optimum security according to the situation, when a security device is set to a security-setting mode from a remote place. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A security device includes: an operation unit for inputting a setting signal of a security release mode or a security-setting mode as a security state of a monitoring area; a communication unit for receiving the setting signal of the security-setting mode from a user terminal; a storage unit for storing detection information about whether or not a sensor in the monitoring area detects an abnormality at present; a mode setting unit for setting to a security-setting mode by inputting a setting signal of the security-setting mode from the operation unit, when the sensor does not detect abnormality at present, and to a remote setting mode with detection information as an initial state by the receipt of the setting signal of the security-setting mode from the user terminal; and a notification unit for performing an abnormality notification to the outside, when the sensor detects an abnormality in the monitoring area under the security-setting mode, and when the sensor detects a change from the initial state under the remote setting mode.
