<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a compressor by diametrically reducing a sealant, while securing performance and reliability equal to a present state, without diametrically reducing a crankshaft. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll and a turning scroll 5, and includes the crankshaft 8 rotatably supported by a frame 7 for driving the turning scroll. A part between a turning scroll back face part and the frame is annularly sealed by the sealant 202, and a back pressure chamber 112 of delivery pressure is formed on the inner peripheral side of this sealant, and a back pressure chamber 111 of low pressure is formed on the outer peripheral side, and the turning scroll is pressed to the fixed scroll by pressure of these back pressure chambers. The sealant is held via a guide ring 301 by a step height part 205 of the frame. This guide ring includes a guide part for supporting an anti-turning scroll side end surface of the sealant and guiding an inner peripheral surface of the sealant.
