<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric separation type smoke sensor in which the wiring connection workability of a terminal board can be improved by turnably fixing its body to a base, and the base can be fixed to a box, without separating the base from the body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric separation type smoke sensor is provided with a base board 2 which is attached to a wall surface, the body 3 fixed to the base board 2 with through screws 30 and 67 with an optical system component for detecting a fire mounted thereon and having a housing part for a circuit board 8, and a cover 20 having an optical filter at the front, wherein the main body 3 is turnably attached to the base board 2, with the screw 67 as a support point.
