<p>The invention relates to a rechargeable and reusable device (1) for the rapid release of a fluid (3), comprising a tubular reservoir (2) having, at one end closed by a first end plate (4), an exit hole (5), said reservoir containing said fluid (3) to be released; and a piston (8) which slides inside the reservoir (2) along its longitudinal axis; the reservoir (2) possessing at its other end, which is closed by a second end plate (6), a gas generator (7) for moving said piston (8) in such a way that the fluid (3) is released as rapidly as possible; said device being noteworthy in that the piston (8) possesses an inner recess (83) such that the propulsion face (84) of said piston (8) in contact with the gases produced by the gas generator (7) is upstream of at least the greater part of the piston (8) in contact with the reservoir (2), in that the gas generator (7) is mounted leaktightly and nonpermanently to the second end plate (6), and in that the exit hole (5) is closed by a tear cap (11) designed to tear under pressure in order to release the fluid (3), said cap being clamped between two elements (9, 10), one of which is removable to allow replacement of said cap (11).</p> |
