An endoscope device having a curvable portion and a pivotable lever enclosed within a housing connected to a spring means for returning the trigger and the control wire to a resting position once a user is finished squeezing the trigger. The pivotable lever defines first and second end connected to an adjustment wire and a control wire respectively. When the trigger is squeezed the curvable portion curves in a controlled manner from a fully straight configuration.
