<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor for efficiently receiving light emitted from a light source and ensuring radiation efficiency or radiation angle accuracy of the light source even in a long reading region. <P>SOLUTION: An image sensor comprises: a light source 2 extending in a main scanning direction; a lens 4 for converging reflection light of a document 1 irradiated with the light source 2; a light-receiving section 5 for receiving the light converged by the lens 4; a heat radiating plate 8 which includes a projecting portion 8a for placing the light source 2 in a recessed portion on a front side, forms a notched portion 8b in the main scanning direction at a terminal part of a rear side and comprises an erected wall portion 8c orthogonal to the notched portion 8b at the rear side; and a housing 9 which houses the heat radiating plate 8 and the light source 2 by providing a hollow region 9b, comprises an abutting portion 9c to abut the projecting portion 8a of the heat radiating plate 8 at a side-wall side to form a light radiation path of the light source 2 and includes a plurality of screw hole portions 9a through the erected wall portion 8c. A screw 10 is abutted to the erected wall portion 8c and fastened by sliding the notched portion 8b of the heat radiating plate 8 in a sub scanning direction along the hollow wall surface of the housing 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
