<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual identification system and method capable of more reliably performing individual identification. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes: a Web server; a business processing server; an automatic dialing system; and a host computer with a database which stores customer information and contract information. The business processing server includes: a means for generating an identification number, displays the generated identification number on a Web site, and stores it in the database when application information of procedure is received; and a means for acquiring a telephone number from the database. The automatic dialing system includes: a means for receiving the telephone number from the business processing server; a means for calling the received telephone number; a means for playing an automatic voice message for prompting input of the identification number when a user answers the called telephone; a means for receiving an identification number input by the user to determine whether the identification number matches to the identification number stored in the database; and a means for updating the database as identified when the identification numbers match to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
