<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element that sufficiently obtain surface light emission by donor-acceptor pair light emission by low-voltage DC driving and is improved in lifetime characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element 100 includes a pair of electrodes 2 and 6, a light emitting layer 4 disposed between the electrodes 2 and 6 and having a donor-acceptor pair light emitting function, and a carrier implantation layer 3 disposed between the light emitting layer 4 and electrode 2 and adjacent the light emitting layer 4, the carrier implantation layer 3 containing at least one of element among Y, Nb, Mo, Zr, Hf, Ta, W, and Re. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
