<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can perform printing by easily input-designating printing information for performing the printing on a printing tape on which a perforation is applied, is easy to use, and can form a seal closure by the printing on the printing tape. <P>SOLUTION: The kind of the printing tape which is fitted on this printer is detected (S1). When the printing tape is one having perforation, an inquiry screen for inquiring the presence/absence of the use of fixed form printing information for the preparation of a sealing sheet is displayed on a display section (S3). When the response for the use of the fixed form printing information is received in response to the inquiry, the selecting screen for the fixed form printing information is displayed on the display section (S5). Then, the selected fixed form printing information is read from a sealing sheet information memory, and is made into printing information to be printed (S7). Also, the length of the printing tape is set in such a manner that the cut-in section of the perforation may become the end section of the sealing sheet, and the printing is performed on the printing tape having the perforation by preparing printing data of the fixed form printing information (S9 and S10). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
