<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which is superior in low-temperature fixability, high temperature-resistive offsetability, and high gloss properties and with which images having fogging suppressed are obtained for a long period, and an image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: A resin layer of a toner carrier contains an urethane resin, and a nonreactive silicone compound having a polyether portion composed of an ether repeat unit with C2-9, and has a number average particle diameter of the toner of 3.00 to 8.00μm, wherein expression (1) of 0.400≤X<SB>100</SB>/D≤0.850 and expression (2) of 0.010≤X<SB>20</SB>/D≤0.070 are satisfied in a fine compression test of the toner, where D is the particle diameter D(μm) of the toner, while X<SB>100</SB>is a maximum displacement quantity (μm) when a load of 9.8×10<SP>-4</SP>N is placed on one particle of the toner at a load speed of 9.8×10<SP>-5</SP>N/sec, and X<SB>20</SB>is a displacement quantity (μm) when a load of 2.0×10<SP>-4</SP>N is placed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
