<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing electrophotographic toner, capable of easily performing production of toner by fine powder recycle with high productivity while satisfactorily maintaining dispersion of a pigment, a wax, or a charge control agent without needing an additional manufacturing facility, an additional manufacturing step, or an additional manufacturing time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing toner comprises steps of: mixing raw materials including a binder resin consisting of a polyester resin and a coloring pigment; melting and kneading the resulting mixture; pulverizing and classifying the melted and kneaded matter; and adding fine powder generated in the pulverizing and classifying step to the mixing step together with an organic liquid which has weak solubility or poor solubility to the polyester resin.
