PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact steering device for a vehicle having superior mountability on the vehicle. SOLUTION: An ECU 12 as a control device and a torque sensor 11 as a steering state detecting sensor are stored in an integral housing H including a motor housing 25. A motor chamber 22 is divided by motor housing body 26 and first housing 23 constituting the motor housing 25. A storing chamber 21 for storing the ECU 12 is divided by the first housing 23 and a second housing 24.
