PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of cost and complicated operation in a conventional method of extending the bed length, in addition to the problem of cost in a method of providing bed frames according to the bed lengths. SOLUTION: This invention is configured to detachably support an attachment supporting member 3 in the longitudinal direction of a bar-shaped member 2 on the bed frame 1 side. A groove-shaped member 5 is disposed to project in the attachment supporting member to be engaged with the bar-shaped member, and a projection 7 and an engagement part 8 constituting engagement means are disposed in the bar-shaped member and the groove-shaped member respectively. In addition, a female thread part 9 constituting thread engagement means and an attaching hole 11 for an attachment bolt 10 to penetrate are disposed in the bar-shaped member and in the groove-shaped member. The engagement means and the thread engagement means in the attachment supporting position variable mechanism have a plurality of positions of engagement and thread engagement in the longitudinal direction of the bar-shaped member.
