PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a breakdown voltage to a commercially acceptable level by using a specific silane coupling agent. SOLUTION: A solid electrolytic capacitor is configured by forming a solid electrolyte 16 made of a conductive polymer in a capacitor element 10 composed by winding or laminating a positive electrode foil 11 with an oxide film 11a and a negative electrode foil 12 therearound or thereon via a separator 13. A coupling agent layer 15 made of a fluoro-silane coupling agent is formed on the oxide film 11a of the positive electrode foil 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
