<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oscillator capable of efficiently taking a high-frequency output signal excellent in phase noise characteristics out of a low basic frequency, using a right angle hybrid circuit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first oscillator 1 outputs a first oscillation signal of basic frequency; and a second oscillator 2 outputs a second oscillation signal of the basic frequency whose phase is opposite to the first oscillation signal. The right angle hybrid circuit HYB1 performs in-phase synthesis of the first oscillation signal outputted from the first oscillator 1 with the second oscillation signal outputted from the second oscillator 2, and outputs a high-frequency signal of quadplex frequency of a basic frequency f1 from an output port P5. Here, the amplitudes of the basic frequency f1, double frequency f2, and triple frequency f3 become zero and are not outputted.
