<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge in which spring deformation when a spring means is attached to a case is suppressed to stabilize spring pressure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The recording tape cartridge 10 includes: a leader pin 30 attached to the edge of a recording tape T wound to a reel 20; and a spring unit 38 which gives draw resistance to the leader pin 30 by energizing the leader pin 30. The spring unit 38 includes: a plate spring 104; an upper support member 112, a lower support member 114 provided to both of upper and lower edges of the plate spring 104, respectively. The upper support member 112 and the lower support member 114 are rigid members, and hard to be deformed. An upper holding part 37U and a lower holding part 37L for holding the upper support member 112 and the lower support member 114, respectively are formed at an inner wall of a case 12.
