<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a facility of high maintainability with less failure and to attain the efficient operation of an RMT (rail mount type portal crane) 1 in a container yard 15 by moving the RMT 1 between blocks with mobility in a short time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A block moving apparatus is provided with a turntable 60 which is a rotation body installed at the ends of inside rails 64 on the abutting side of the adjacent first and second blocks 21, 22, and a turning rail 62 connecting circularly outside rails 65 on the non-abutting side of the first and second blocks 21, 22.
