PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger enabling to uniformly cool a bearing housing, and to provide its cooling method. SOLUTION: Between a lubricating oil supply passage 15 and a cooling passage 19, a lubricating oil supply hole is arranged which consists of a plurality of flow paths for jetting lubricating oil upward into the cooling passage 19. The flow paths are arranged at an angle of inclination to an approximately vertical direction. The flow paths are arranged into a V-shape in the same plane along the radial direction of a driving shaft. The angle of inclination is set within a range of 45-60°. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
