<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce NOx and to suppress low frequency vibration in burning, in a burner for a boiler. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This burner is equipped with: a fuel injection nozzle 35 disposed on an axis of a combustion chamber; and a primary air introduction pathway 37 and a second air introduction pathway 38 concentrically formed with the fuel injection nozzle as a center, provided in a ceiling part of a cylindrical combustion chamber 14; and the prescribed number of second air nozzles 30 radially disposed at a lower end of the secondary air introduction pathway at equal angular pitches.
