METHOD FOR STATE MIGRATING OF STREAM CONTROL TRANSMISSION PROTOCOL

A method for state migrating of stream control transmission protocol includes: the local end SCTP determining that there is unsent data in the sending buffer and the receiving window of the opposite end SCTP is larger than or equal to the length of the first unsent data currently after the local end stream control transmission protocol (SCTP) coupling in SHUTDOWN-PENDING state, then the local end SCTP sending the first unsent data to the opposite end SCTP; if having not received an answer from the opposite end SCTP, it closing the SCTP coupling. Application of this technical solution, when the local end SCTP receives the SHUTDOWN request from the upper layer user to close a coupling, if there is data to be sent to the opposite end SCTP and the data cannot be sent successfully because the receiving buffer of the opposite end SCTP is small or other reasons, the coupling can be used again quickly.
