<p>Adhesives containing inter-crosslinked polymeric microparticles are described. The polymeric microparticles include an acrylic polymer. The present disclosure also relates to water-based emulsions containing polymeric microparticles and a suitable inter-crosslinking agent as well as methods of making adhesives from such water-based emulsions.</p>
