摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery in which a material of an affluent resource volume is used as a positive electrode active material and a battery capacity can be enhanced further as well. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium ion secondary battery 10 is provided with a negative electrode 16 having a negative electrode active material, a positive electrode 20 having a positive electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution conducting lithium ions between the negative electrode 16 and the positive electrode 20. The positive electrode active material contains a mixture between iron lithium phosphate compound which has an olivine structure, and lithium manganese composite oxide which has a C2/m structure. The positive electrode active material has a weight ratio of the ion lithium phosphate compound of 20 to 80 wt.%, and a weight ratio of the lithium manganese composite oxide of 80 to 20 wt.%. The ion lithium phosphate compound is covered by carbon and a mean particle diameter of a primary particle is 50 to 500 nm, and it is desirable that a mean diameter of a primary particle of the lithium manganese complex oxide may be 1 to 10 &mu;m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
