<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate precursor which can be subjected to satisfactory development by a developer having pH 2.0 to 10.0 and having excellent printing durability and free from a stain. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing plate precursor has a photosensitive layer including the followings (A) to (D) on a supporting body. (A) A binder polymer having a positively charged nitrogen atom at a main chain and/or a side chain, (B) a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, (C) a radical polymerization initiator, and (D) a multivalent anion having a plurality of monovalent anions.
