<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell enhancing sealing stability and reliability in long use. <P>SOLUTION: Hydrophobic layers 13 and 33 are arranged between a sealing member 41 and at least one of a photoelectric conversion electrode 21 and a counter electrode 31. Preferably, the hydrophobic layers 13 and 33 are formed wider than the sealing member 41, and preferably, the thickness is 0.001-10 μm.
