<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter manufacturing method which improves the developability of a color liquid composition layer by reducing the amount of residual solvent in the color liquid composition layer just after prebaking and improves a voltage holding ratio of an obtained color filter to obtain a high-quality image, to provide a color filter obtained by the method, and to provide a liquid crystal display device using the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the color filter, in which patterned color pixels of two or more colors mutually different in hue and a black matrix around them are provided on a substrate, the color liquid composition layer is formed on the substrate in order to form at least one color pixel or the black matrix and is prebaked wherein the amount of residual solvent of the color liquid composition layer just after prebaking is ≤10μL/m<SP>2</SP>and the total amount of residual solvent of the color liquid composition layer for formation of color pixels of respective colors and the black matrix is ≤40μL/m<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
