<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a color of deep green in a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: A mixed pigment of a zinc phthalocyanine green pigment (e.g. PG58 green pigment) and a PY150 yellow pigment is used as a pigment of a green color filter. When it is defined that an amount of the zinc phthalocyanine green pigment is G and an amount of the Y150 yellow pigment is Y, G/(G+Y) is set to 55 to 90%. A light source obtained by combining a blue LED with a red phosphor and a green phosphor is used as a light source of a backlight. In the liquid crystal display device having such a configuration, a y-value of green on choromaticity coordinates of a CIE can be set to 0.71 and more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
