<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter which accurately suppresses the harmonic current of predetermined order flowing from a power system, even if voltage harmonics having a plurality of orders exist in a power system connected thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter includes: a converter part 100 in which its one end is connected to 165U, V, W of an AC system, and its other end is connected to loads for converting an AC power into a DC power; and a controller 104 for this converter part. A voltage detection value is input from a voltage detector 185 of the power system connected; the sine coefficients and the cosine coefficients of the voltage harmonic of the power system are extracted at a DFT501 by using Fourier series expansion; the voltage harmonic is restored from these coefficients at the DFT502 to add the restored value to an AC output voltage demand value of the converter part; and a voltage is generated which counteracts with the harmonics of the predetermined order in the AC system, thus suppressing the flow-in of the current of the predetermined order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
