<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which switching between connection/non-connection of an AC power source requires manual insertion/drawing of an AC adaptor 6 to and from a notebook PC body device 1, or preparation of an external device for switching the connection/non-connection to and from the AC power source even in an automated case. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes procedures of: automatically repeating charge/discharge process of a battery 5 by performing, in response to a control signal from a power supply switching control part 12, switching between two kinds of power sources by use of a peak shift control function owned by a PSC part 18 of a power supply control part 4; measuring the discharge time of the battery 5 during discharging of the battery 5; and testing, from the measurement result of discharge time of the battery 5, whether a preset power saving function of the portable computer body device is effectively operated or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
