PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the versatility of a decorative plate 8 by making it possible to mount the decorative plate on a caliper body 5 without specially machining a mounting structure of the decorative plate 8 used for an automobile or the like and mounted on the caliper body 5 of a disc brake device 1 equipped with a floating-type caliper mechanism 3.

SOLUTION: A held portion 83 held by a claw 52 and a claw-side pad 72 of the caliper body 5 is provided at the decorative plate 8. On an outside surface opposite to the claw 52 of the claw-side pad 72, a receiving portion 72a is formed for receiving the held portion 83 of the decorative plate 8.
